Apps and the Store
Apps on your tablet are also logged on your google playstore account and do not get deleted from there. It appears that deleting an app permanently is a 2 stage process.
Firstly, delete it from your device through Settings, Application Manager: Downloaded
Now go to the Play Store and choose Apps, My Apps:All
Any App with a cross on the right hand side can be deleted permanantly!
Installing an App
The Internet and Browsers
You use browsers to look at pages on the world wide web which is part of the internet. The Samsung tablet comes with its own browser, but you might find one of the following browsers better to use on your tablet. They will all have slightly different settings. Please can you make sure that these three browsers are on our tablets:
- Firefox
- Google Chrome
- Dolphin
Home, Apps, Play Store: search, enter the app name
Check that it is free, tap it, read about it and install. Sometimes when you install an app you may be asked to review your account and you may be prompted to complete your setup by choosing a payment method. At this stage choose SKIP in the bottom left hand corner of the box that pops up.
When the app is about to be installed you will be prompted to accept what the app accesses. If you want to install it still, press ACCEPT and wait for it to install
