SECRETARY’S REPORT:

  • Age UK speaker. NS has been unable to make contact. Wondering if there is a misunderstanding with our aims and that of the monthly Boot coffee morning. Will continue to try and make contact.
  • Average attendance in the last term was 14 – figure distorted by inclement weather when only 9 members were able to attend.

TREASURER’S REPORT:

Bank balance stands at £3486.77. Unpresented cheques amount to £240.

LG requests to be paid monthly – All agreed

Easter Egg Raffle made £170. Letter of thanks to be put behind the Bar. Act.Sec

WAY FORWARD:

Discussion followed on viability and interest in concentrating on mobile phones rather than Tablets.

General feeling is that the preferred option are the Tablets. The 7” version of Tablet are popular and consideration should be given to them when purchasing replacement equipment, possibly 50/50.

It appears that most members are using the Club Tables rather than their own.

NS read out a letter from CS outlining another funding stream application. All agreed that it was a positive way forward. NS to liaise with CS. Act.Sec.
