Week 4 – browsers and one drive

Last week we covered browsers in great detail, so today we are going to use some of that new found knowledge!

There are a number of websites which are useful for specific tasks or information and to have easy access to them can be beneficial both for saving time and because they are easily forgotten.

Your first exercise is to create two folders in bookmarks, called:

  • Barmby Moor
  • Training

Inside the Barmby Moor folder, add the followling:

Barmby Moor CE Primary School  – eastriding.gov.uk –
Barmby Moor C E Primary School  – barmbymoor.com
Home – Barmby Moor Parish Council  – barmbymoor.net
Boot and Slipper – Barmby on the Moor,…  – facebook.com
Simple Search- planning portal  – eastriding.gov.uk
Where I Live – Connect to Support  – connecttosupport.org
Barmby [Moor] | Domesday Book  – domesdaymap.co.uk –
Barmby Moor | A History of the County…  – british-history.ac.uk –
The Barmby Moor Group  – barmbymoorgroup.org.uk –
GENUKI: Barmby Moor  – genuki.org.uk
Sold House Prices – Streets in Barmby…  – yorkpress.co.uk –

Inside the training folder add this link (remove the quotes):

We now need to quickly cover the settings not looked at last week.

Finally, each tablet needs to confirm that it has an outlook.com email address.  When confirmed, please go to the Play Store and install OneDrive.
