Kindle is an Android allows you to read books on your device. Iit’s Amazon’s way of getting you to use their service without having to buy a Kindle!
There are loads of free books, but to use the app you will need to be logged in.
Install it on the tablets, and then set it up. We have an amazon account which you can get from the tutor.
Downlaod a free book and start reading… can you enlarge the type, flip pages etc?
Kindle have a sister app called audible which is a subscription services allowing you to download an audiobook every month.
A free alternative is Librivox Audio Books Free which allows you to listen to a huge range of classical titles. Install it and try it out. Some books have different versions including “dramatic versions” (for example A Christmas Carol).
There are a number of other audio book apps which you can download.
