Is chrome saving my passwords?

 To check, open Chrome on your phone, then tap the Menu button in the upper right corner of the screen, as denoted by three dots, then tap Settings.

Tap on save passwords to turn it on or off and see a list of what sites have saved passwords.

To see the passwords themselves means logging in to your gmail account online.
