Google Hangouts is a way of communicating with people via instant messaging, video chat, SMS and VOIP. It has been designed to bring all the communication tools into one place.
It may already be installed on your device, if not, go to the play store and install it.
Then go through the different explanation screens. You can add the dialer but we won’t be using it today.
Now invite some people to your circle. Everone you invite is now part of your group and you can send messages to them all at once. Just having one person in the group enables you to send messages directly. You can even video chat to them.
Make sure to tap the menu option at each stage to see the different options.
We will create a hangout with all the tablets on it.
Goggle want this to be the future of how we communicate… Microsoft have other ideas… you can still use Skype to make those calls.
