MINUTES of LAST MEETING:
The Minutes of the meeting held 18th.March 2019 were read. JT proposed and LG seconded that they were a true record. All agreed.
MATTERS ARISING:
- Party Liability still to progress. Secretary apologised for his tardy attention to this item.
- Banner – Thanks to BE for organizing the banner which all agreed was of a tasteful design. SC to obtain a ruling from the PC as to where it could be sited to best advantage within the village.
- Smart phone – has been purchased for use as a lecturing tool.
- Barry Malin – Probus lecture has been delivered to 30 members. Clubs grateful thanks to Barry.
- Tablets at ‘Chit-Chat ‘ – BE reports that take up is non existent but will continue for the time being.
- Boot-IT feedback form – there are no adverse comments received so far.
SECRETARY’S REPORT:
- Average attendance for this term to date is 16. Maximum has been 20, but the overall count was reduced by one meeting at which there were only 11 members.
- The spring term has seen a total of 13 new members joining. 7 are from Stamford Bridge. This is a direct result of BF’s efforts with advertising in the local parish magazine.
TREASURER’S REPORT:
JT to furnish Ambassador programme breakdowns to date. The end date of the programme is 1st. August 2019, leaving until 2nd. September when our records etc. should be finalized.
AMBASSADOR PROGRAMME:
CT tabled the Ambassador Programme budget. We appear to be on track to achieve 400 – 500 contacts, the target figure being 500.
We still need more volunteer expenses to be claimed for, including the cost of using the Boot&Slipper facilities. (AT)
LG and CS are progressing the E-reminders and tabled two draft copies which were well received.
The cost of producing and laminating each would be in the region of £150.00 given the amount
of design time involved.
Club members to stress test the draft copies.
The launch date was set at 25th. July, for which a flyer is required and a note in the Parish Magazine.

- CT/JT to advise how much money can be spent in purchasing logo pencils as advertising material.
