This session starts with a continuation of email practice. Each tablet will have received an email. Your task is to follow the instructions in the email.
Before looking at Google Drive it is useful to understand something of “the cloud” and some of the services that are available.
Each of the tablets is set up with a Google Drive account, but if you need to set one up you can follow these instructions.
Google Drive come with its own word processor, spreadsheet and presentation program. When you save a document in Google drive it is not saved on your tablet but on your Google Drive, but you can save a copy on your tablet as well.
Create a document and send a photo to your Google Drive.
Finally, at the end of the session, we need to do some housekeeping to make sure that Android and the Apps are up to date. Specifically we need to check that the Samsung Galaxy Apps store is up to date. Have a look in the store and install Power Clean.
