A bookmark is a collection of direct links to predefined web pages which is stored in your web browser. Bookmarks can be created and managed by the user themselves. Most browsers come packaged with several existing bookmarks. The term bookmark is used in browsers such as Firefox, Internet Explorer, Chrome and Safari.
In Google Chrome on the android you can save your bookmarks so that they will appear on all your devices. First you have to run the Chrome browserand then log into log in to your gmail account. Remember on our tablets the general gmail account.
Navigate to the page you want to bookmark and then press the star symbol next to the microphone in the URL bar (left hand side).
Up pops a dialogue offering the name for the bookmark, it’s URL and the location for the bookmark which should be “Mobile bookmarks”. Click “Save” and that is now there for ever.
Any device that signs on an android chrome browser with that email should now have those bookmarks.
Can’t see your bookmarks? Tap on settings, bookmarks (on the Galaxy it’s the “Menu” button on the left of the “home” button.
