The tablets come with two specific apps for pictures and of course one for the camera.

You can manage your Google+ photos, albums and videos with the  Photos app on your Android device. Before you start making changes, make sure that you’re signed in to the right Google+ account.

  1. Open the  Photos app.
  2. Open the main menu by touching the  Photos icon at the top left.
  3. To switch to another Google+ profile or page, touch the  drop-down arrow to the right of your account name.

The second app is called Android Gallery which is about to be cut to be replaced by the Photos app.

View (includes Auto-backup)

Open the  Photos app > touch the  Photos icon in the top left-hand corner to open the menu > Photos. You’ll see two sections:

All tab Highlights tab
View all the photos & videos that you’ve uploaded to Google+, taken with your device’s camera or downloaded to your device. These might include photos that you’ve shared, device screenshots, photos that you’ve saved from the web or photos saved by other apps. View a sample of your photos & videos, grouped by date or album. These are chosen automatically, favouring clear photos with good exposure, non-duplicate photos, & photos with people or landmarks in them. Touch the > icon to view the rest of the photos in a group.

To delete photos and videos, long-touch a thumbnail that you wish to delete > select every item that you wish to delete >  bin icon

Tap on a picture to make it full screen.  Tap on the Photos icon to return to the View screen.

On the bottom of your screen are 3 buttons. The Edit pen, the Share button and the bin.

You can crop,  edit, rotate and add effects to  your picture in many ways.

Deleting a photo

Open the  Photos app > touch the thumbnail of the photo you wish to delete >  menu icon/button > Delete

Restoring or recovering a photo from the Bin

Open the  Photos app > touch the  Photos icon in the top left to open the menu > Bin > the thumbnail you wish to restore >  menu icon/button > Restore

Note: Photos that were locally stored on your device or were not backed up to Google+ cannot be restored.

Sharing photos is as easy as tapping the share button and then choosing which way you are going to share the picture, such as by email.
